Clairo: Immunity [FADER]

Immunity is the debut LP from singer-songwriter Claire Cottrill aka Clairo. The new album follows her 2018 EP Diary 001, which included her breakout songs “Pretty Girl” and “Flaming Hot Cheetos.” Clairo co-produced Immunity with Rostam.

Ty Segall: First Taste [Drag City]

First Taste is the latest offering from hyper-prolific guitarist, singer, and songwriter Ty Segall. The new LP arrives after last year’s Freedom’s Goblin, Joy (with White Fence), Pre Strike Sweep (with GØGGS), Fudge Sandwich, the limited tape Orange Rainbow, and the C.I.A.’s debut, as well as this year’s live record Deforming Lobes. Russian Circles: Blood Year [Sargent House]

The Chicago post-rock trio Russian Circles are back with the follow-up to 2016’s Guidance. Their new album features an assist from Converge’s Kurt Ballou and it was recorded at Steve Albini’s iconic Electrical Audio studio in Chicago.

Tyler Childers: Country Squire [Hickman Holler/RCA]

Country artist Tyler Childers re-enlisted the production team of Sturgill Simpson and David Ferguson for Country Squire. Nine twangy tunes make up the Kentucky singer-songwriter’s second full-length record. Check out Childers’ “House Fire” and “All Your’n” music videos.

Nérija: Blume [Domino]

Blume is the debut album from Nérija, the London-based jazz collective of Nubya Garcia (tenor saxophone), Sheila Maurice-Grey (trumpet), Cassie Kinoshi (alto saxophone), Rosie Turton (trombone), Shirley Tetteh (guitar), Lizy Exell (drums), and Rio Kai (bass). The album was produced by Kwes and recorded at London’s Soup Studios.
