The leak allegedly comes from traders who have stated that these will be the configurations initially available in European markets, including Germany. Interestingly, there is quite some difference with the previous generation in terms of configuration options. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has more storage choices, as it’s possible to get up to a 1 TB SSD; however, the Surface Pro 7 has more RAM options with the additional 4 GB SKU. It’s likely a 1 TB storage choice will eventually be added to the configurator for the Surface Pro 7, though.

The latest Surface Pro generation also seemingly offers more in regard to processor options with the inclusion of an i3 processor, while the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 currently comes with either an i5-8250U or i7-8650U (business customers can select between an i5-8350U option or the i7-8650U). WinFuture speculates that Microsoft might plump for the Comet Lake i3-10110Y chip for the entry-level Surface Pro 7 device.
